Thank you Wayne this is one of my first real efforts at night photography. What I missed was getting the big dipper in the picture completely. I like the shore line as well and it was emphasized by friends on the shoreline wearing head lamps.

I agree with Wayne I was also drawn to the shoreline. Lovely shot Carrie.

Nice capture, overall great presentation, but what really captured my attention was the moonlit shoreline on either side of the river, Natural or not it works for me
